Assessing and diagnosing injuries can usually be done as effectively online as in person.
Hands on assessment and regular manual treatment in conjunction with a comprehensive exercise and rehabilitation programme is often the most effective way of dealing with injuries but we are also encouraging our clients to become less dependent on us and take a more proactive approach to their recovery and progression.
This is very same approach we use with online assessments and have adapted our ‘in clinic’ assessments to be as effective when assessing online as they would be if you were standing in front of us.
We deal with your injury online as we would the same way as if you were in clinic. During your consultation we’ll ask lots of questions, we may get you to perform exercises, movements & special tests and even follow us in performing actions on screen ‘Simon says style’, we’ll ask you to gauge pain scales and how things feel and then we’ll provide you with a diagnosis.
Then we will give you with a comprehensive treatment and exercise plan.
If at any point we feel you need to be seen by another healthcare professional, referred to your GP or referred for an X-ray or scan we will let you know right away and recommend the best course of action for your injury.
